Very friendly environment. Our server Chelsea was very nice and attentive. The seafood omelet and the veggie omelet were so good The fresh juice was a very good addition to the breakfast

Add this restaurant to your itinerary if you’re visiting New Orleans. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was just what you would expect in the Big Easy! They have about a 15 to 20 minute wait but it’s worth every second. The food was very affordable and the mimosas were delicious. My only piece of advice is that you don’t need a full order of French toast unless you’re sharing it. A half order with another entree is enough. I hope this review helps.

First, I love the fact that this cafe chose to build on the "reuse" notion. You can see that the bench was made from old pallets. The chairs and tables from mismatches because they were all reclaimed from a variety of places. Now, on to the food. I had the Hatchery = "Egg, Spinach, Tomato, Mushrooms, and Goat Cheese on a Croissant." It was delicious. I had to eat it with a knife and fork but at least I did end up wearing any of it. Bob had the Belt Breakfast = "Bacon, Fried Egg, Kale, Tomato, & Mayo on Corn Dusted Jalapeno Toast." I also had the Refuel = "Cucumber, Carrot, Apple, Ginger, & Lime" which was freshly made and delicious. I will have to try and replicate it at home!

Stopped in here for breakfast on late Sunday afternoon. It was busy but they were moving fast so our wait time was only 20 minutes for a table for 2. We ordered shrimp & grits, pancakes, eggs, bacon, and mimosas. They offer mimosas with fresh or bottled OJ. I got fresh & it was great! Shrimp and grits were soooo good. Definitely would recommend it. Pancakes were 2/5. They don’t provide whipped butter or real maple syrup for them which is my personal preference. Pancakes were also a bit dry.

1st timer… Fantastic food Fantastic staff Will definitely come back and recommend to others! My husband had the French toast with fresh strawberries and bananas on top. I had the breakfast bowl -base was grits, scrambled eggs on top with sautéed veggies (spinach, onions, peppers and mushrooms) BEST GRITS!!!

This is a two part review based on my three visits within a year. The food is flavorful, good portion sizes. Depending on the time of the year it gets pretty packed with long waits, but it’s worth the wait. Service is good and attentive

This place is a tucked away gem in Nola. The interior is very cute, and the atmosphere is cozy and quiet. I got the Papa’s French Toast, and it was DELICIOUS. My orange mint tea was also very refreshing. It is not a “sweet” tea per-say, but the flavor was wonderful. I got a banana strawberry smoothie when I left, and it was also good! Overall, I’d absolutely come back. Give it a chance if you’re reading this!
